Authors: Editorial Board and Journal Leadership, International Journal of Academic Medicine

The Editorial Board and Journal Leadership of the International Journal of Academic Medicine (IJAM) recognizes the importance of full transparency regarding conflict of interest (COI) - both actual and perceived - in the context of scholarly publishing. In accordance with our internal disclosure policies, we would like to report that the following members of our Editorial Board contributed to IJAM during the 2020-2021 Academic Year (measured from Jul 1, 2020 to Jun 30, 2021). We make every effort to ensure impartial and unbiased peer review for all submissions, including those by our Editorial Board members, without exceptions. Considered globally, out of the total 47 published manuscripts, 7 (14.9%) had authors who are on the Editorial Board. Among those items, three were categorized as Consensus Statements or Meeting Reports/Abstracts, with additional 2 being classified as Letter to Editor or Commentary/Editorial. Editorial Board members and the associated digital object identifiers (DOI) for each occurrence of Editorial Board authorship are listed in the table below:
